Our company has been giving service with knowledge and experience for long years at the same address since 1976 before the promotion sector has developed. With the angle of production, domestic supply and import, our company has been giving service to the end users and agencies by providing wide range of product groups at the best quality with a minimum budget.

As Turmak, we pay attention to the brand and concept of our customers’ products by taking care of their budget for their projects and purchasing decisions. With our two registered brands TIMEONE and ALLMUG we are becoming persistent with our continuously increasing product range in retail market and also internationally with the increasing export sales.

By considering our sector’s expectations and sales outcomes, we attend the PSI Dusseldorf Exhibitions regularly, besides that we also attend the global trade fairs like Canton and Hong Kong fairs as visitor.

SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Our company is being audited since 2010 in terms of Social Responsibility and we have been the first Sedex Smeta 4p certificate owner in the promotion sector and apparently we are being regularly audited by TCCC and we accept these applications as our obligations towards our employees and working environment.

Turmak established a social and environmental administrative program to overcome today’s ecological difficulties. The conditions of this administrative program and also the rules that our company apply, help us to meet our clients’ demands and also our environmental targets. Turmak has a suitable structure for SMETA4 (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) conditions, socials values, human rights and environmental factors. The company office and related products have to be in accordance with this environmental protection system. These internal standards aim to decrease our company’s environmental effects. We continuously evaluate environmental performance and progress within the company to create an improvement cycle.

Our commitment and purpose is to minimize the wastes, maximize the electricity saving and to provide a much more responsible production circle for both people and the environment. We are using a very effective follow-up system to obtain a good tracking method. We have never had any penalty regarding neither environmental nor industrial issues.

OUR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

Child Labor : To act according to young workers’ employment rules and regulations with the respect of children’s health, development and education rights, not to recruit any employee under the age of 16.

Recruitment : Besides the technical and occupational capacity, it is important to accept the social convenience and corporate rules at the recruitment stage as an important criteria in order to obtain the continuity of the company. Starting at the recruitment stage, it is valid that the discrimination and sexual abuse-bad behavior policy is applicable.

Raising Awareness of the Employees : To make sure that all the employees are aware of the working conditions, company rules and personal benefits at the recruitment stage, since social adaptation is based on the informed employees.

Working Hours : To be in accordance with law and regulations about working hours and overtime depending on efficient working and human rights.

Wages and Salaries : To make sure that the salary is not under the minimum wage, and the overtime be paid according to the law and regulations so that the employees will be able cover their daily life expenses.

Adaptation of Obligation to the Law and Other Liabilities : To follow the regulations of international social responsibility institutions (FLA, ILO, ETI) in accordance with the rules of partnerships with our clients.

Discrimination : To ensure that recruitment, compensation, access to training, promotion or the termination of employment , cannot be based on sexuality, nationality, race, religion, social class or political relationships, considering the fact that all employees have equal rights.

Communication : To execute the applications for obtaining good relationship between employees and also between the employees and the management, to create good and continuous relationships between the employees and the management, based on the belief that success comes from healthy relationships.

Preventing Abuse and Bad Behavior : To create a peaceful working environment for happy employees, make sure the employees are not forced to work under verbal, psychological and physical abuse or pressure.

Forced Labor : To ensure that force labor is not applicable on the contract base or on any kind of debt and the work should be done willingly.

Supply Management : To evaluate the social suitability actions, to follow-up results of the action plans and to control the social suitability actions of suppliers with the management systems, since it is believed that all the suppliers have equal responsibilities.

Health and Safety at Work : To accept the human as the most valuable asset, and create safer and healthier work environment for preventing all possible losses with considering this issue as a priority; to arrange trainings for the employees so that they will be aware of their individual responsibilities regarding the issue; to provide the necessary equipment for Health and Safety; to apply Health and Safety rules and regulations in terms of Eko Tekstil’s standards and rules; to create a work environment in accordance with Health and Safety policy and establish an awareness about these developments; to determine and control all the risks regarding our company’s activities about health and safety, also keep these risks at acceptable levels.

Training : The level of the training determines the company’s general situation. Therefore, to ensure Company’s continuous development by increasing employees’ health and safety awareness; to arrange internal and external trainings for the support of their occupational and personal developments.

We should use company products and facilities in a very efficient way and we have to protect every material. We should report the opposite situations to the manager when we observe.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS SECURITY

The computer system in the company and also the computers provided to the employees are company’s property. These provided computers are meant to be used for the Company’s business.

Every employee is obliged to use the computer system and the computers in accordance with company rules and local regulations.

Every kind of communication and information (including CDs and other storage device) received from the company’s system, or sent and created visuals, products, data are registered and belong to the Turmak Makine sanayi Ticaret A.Ş..

The company has the right to track every kind of activity in the computer system without employee’s consent.

It is forbidden to send and receive any illegal type of emails and files eventhough they are allowed for personal usage at minimum level.
